Warming up somewhat and fairly mixed otherwise, but more pleasant than not.
Thanks to Debbie for the photograph.
So the general picture sees a weak area of high pressure in control – low pressure close to our north but not heading our way, and low pressure quite far to the south-west starting to develop.

Thursday starts bright with some sunshine/hazy sunshine though also some cloud around. From around late morning onwards the cloud amounts increase so there will be more cloud than sun until around mid/late afternoon when sunny spells will increase. A chance of a shower or two, but should be on the light side. Around 15’C. Clear spells for much of the night though likely more cloud towards dawn, down to around 7’C.
Friday morning does have a chance of a shower or two first thing, then broadly sunny spells/hazy sunshine in the morning – some cloud bubbling up in the afternoon with some heavy showers breaking out – around a 60% chance of catching one or two, some places will miss them. Reaching around 19’C and feeling warmer. Reasonably clear skies overnight, down to around 6’C.
On Saturday we are kind of lucking out – a weather front to our north unable to head south, and one to our south unable to head north. We’ll have hazy sunshine all day instead – cloud probably thicker in the afternoon but still bright and very pleasant, perhaps a light shower but unlikely. Warmer, around 20’C, maybe a tad more. Fairly cloudy overnight, possibly some showery rain later in the night as the weather front to our south slowly moves north, but uncertain – around 10’C.
By Sunday we have high pressure to our west/north-west, low pressure to the west of Spain/Portugal – originally I had thought that low pressure would get closer to us, and bring more in the way of showers from Sunday onwards, but now it looks like it will stay to the west of Spain/Portugal.

Some uncertainty for Sunday as we may have some showery rain in the morning – say a 40% chance that it got this far north. Slightly more likely its just cloudy, and the cloud will gradually thin in either case to leave a reasonable afternoon with at least some hazy sunshine. I stress the uncertainty on details so it could change either way a bit here. Around 15’C – give or take a couple, depending on sunshine amounts and also quite windy. Most likely clear spells overnight as cooler air spreads down from the north, down to around 2’C so rather chilly by dawn.
Monday starts sunny though a band of cloud with some showers will spread down in the afternoon. Feeling cooler in the northerly breeze, around 14’C or so. Clear skies probable overnight and chilly once more.
Tuesday is probably on the cloudy but dry side, more or less – and around 16’C or so.
The latter part of next week likely more showery and probably on the cool side.
Next forecast should be on Sunday, I wish you a successful end to the week.
