Well I hope you like rain because the news sure is gloomy this morning.

A band of rain just about arriving into our region as I type, it will become heavy – likely very heavy for a while, say around 2 hours, around 11am to 1pm, with the last showery bits clearing around 2/3pm.

Strong winds, particularly during the rain, but very mild at 16’C.

Further showery rain tonight, arriving after midnight, and for the first part of Sunday – though nothing heavy expected. Some heavy showers possible later on Sunday, a bit hit and miss, and occasional bits of lightish rain possible until Monday morning.
